Speech & Occupational Therapy of North Texas Started in 2001 With A Small Clinic in Downtown Plano, Where the Owner At the Time, Anne Bramlett, Grew Up. Anne Became A Speech-Language Pathologist in Private Practice Because She Wanted To Help Serve Not Only Children With Disabilities But Also Their Families She Understood the Importance of A Team Approach and the Importance of Providing Exceptional Services for Both Families and Children Because She Has an Adult Son On the Autism Spectrum. in 2002, Becky Hary, Speech-Language Pathologist, Began Working for Anne and Quickly Became an Integral Part of the Clinic Because She Shared the Same Values and Desire As Anne To Help Children and Their Families With Speech and Language Challenges As Well As Sensory Processing Disorders. Becky Became the Director of Speech & Occupational Therapy in 2004 While Continuing To See Clients. Alongside Anne, She Helped Open A Clinic in Frisco in 2004 and in Mckinney in 2012. Through the Years, Anne Mentored Becky To Ultimately Become the Owner. in 2016, Becky Purchased the Business and Continues the Work of Helping Children Reach Their Highest Potential and Helping Families Help Their Children Grow in All Areas of Development. Through the Intake Process, Becky Works Personally To Ensure That Each and Every Child Is Paired With A Therapist Who Best Meets Their Individual Needs. She Is Accessible To All Families Throughout the Treatment Process and Loves Nothing More Than Watching the Children Grow and Helping Families To Help Their Children. Speech & Occupational Therapy Has Exceptional Speech Therapists Who Are Highly Trained in All Areas of Speech, Pragmatic and Language Development and Exceptional Occupational Therapists Who Are Highly Trained in Working With Children With Sensory Disorders, Fine Motor Skills and Visual Spatial Difficulties. Additionally, We Have Therapists Who Specialize in Feeding Therapy, the Sos Method, Augmentative Communication, Apraxia, Autism, Preschool Aged Children, Cognitive Challenges. We Also Have Therapists Who Are Sipt Certified, Who Specialize in the Handwriting Without Tears Program and Who Are Trained in the Prompt Method.
